Technical SEO services that fix what Google trips over

Our technical SEO services find and fix the faults that stop search engines crawling, reading and trusting your website. Broken links, slow pages, redirect chains, pages blocked by mistake. You rarely see them. Google hits them on every visit. We build WordPress and advanced websites ourselves, so we fix the code instead instead of handing you a long report.

What is technical SEO?

Technical SEO is the work that lets search engines reach your pages, read them properly and load them fast. Great content can't rank if Google can't get to it.

Crawling
Google's bot follows links to find pages. A broken link is a dead end.
Indexing
Google decides which pages to keep. One stray noindex tag can drop a page.
Rendering
Google runs your code to see the page. Heavy scripts slow that down.
Speed and stability
Slow, jumpy pages lose visitors before they call.

Technical SEO is one layer of SEO. Content, local search and links matter too, and our SEO services page shows how they fit.

The crawl

Follow the crawler through a typical site

This is roughly what our crawler finds on a typical trade business site. Scroll and we fix each flagged page in turn.

  1. Crawl the whole site.

We map every URL, its links and what it returns.

  2. Fix the broken link.

A renamed service page left a 404 behind. We redirect it and update the links.

  3. Flatten the redirect chain.

Three redirects in a row waste crawl time. We point the old URL straight at the final page.

  4. Rescue the orphan page.

A useful blog post had no internal links. We link it from the blog and a related service.

  5. Remove the stray noindex.

A setting left over from the build hid a money page from Google. We remove it and request indexing.

  6. Merge the duplicate.

Two location pages said the same thing. We merge them and set one canonical URL.

Core Web Vitals

Core Web Vitals and site speed optimisation

Core Web Vitals are Google's three measures of how a page feels: how fast the main content appears, how quickly it reacts to a tap and how much the layout jumps.

The causes are usually ordinary: a huge hero image, five tracking scripts, a cookie banner that shoves the page down. We fix them in the theme or code and measure again. We won't promise a score, but we'll show you the before and after.

SEO audit services

SEO audit services that end in fixes, not a PDF

An audit is only worth paying for if someone acts on it. Ours starts with a full crawl and your Search Console data, then becomes a short fix list ranked by impact. Problems costing you enquiries go first, like a plumber's suburb pages missing from Google.

Migrations

SEO migration without losing your rankings

A new website is where rankings often disappear. URLs change, redirects get forgotten and traffic drops. Website migration SEO is the plan that stops that.

Typical timing for a small business site.

  1. 4 weeks out

    Benchmark

We crawl the old site and record rankings, traffic and top pages.

  2. 3 weeks out

    Redirect map

Every old URL gets a matching new one. No blanket redirects to the home page.

  3. 1 week out

    Staging checks

We crawl the new site before launch for titles, canonicals, speed and stray noindex tags.

  4. Launch day

    Go live

Redirects switched on and tested, sitemap submitted.

  5. Weeks 1 to 8

    Monitor

We check crawl errors, indexing and rankings weekly and fix anything that slips.

Structured data

Schema markup and XML sitemaps

Schema markup is a small block of code that tells Google exactly what a page is: your business, services and FAQs. It can make you eligible for richer results.

Your XML sitemap lists the pages you want found. We keep it clean, with only live, indexable pages, and it updates itself when you publish.

Technical SEO questions, answered

What is technical SEO?

Technical SEO is the work that helps search engines find, read and load your pages. It covers crawling, indexing, speed, mobile usability, structured data and redirects. If Google can't reach a page or it loads badly, good writing on it won't rank.

What's included in your technical SEO services?

We start with a technical SEO audit, then fix what we find: broken links, redirect chains, indexing problems, duplicate pages, slow templates, schema markup and XML sitemaps. Our developers make the changes, and we check Search Console monthly so new issues get caught early.

How much does a technical SEO audit cost?

Technical SEO is part of every monthly plan, from $1,199 per month plus GST, which also covers your website, hosting, and SEO and SEM management. Need only a one-off audit or migration help? We'll quote it after a quick look at your site.

How long does technical SEO take to show results?

Some fixes show up within weeks, like a page getting indexed once a stray noindex tag is removed. Speed and crawl improvements usually settle over one to three months as Google recrawls. Bigger ranking gains come when technical fixes are paired with good content.

Will a website migration hurt my SEO?

It can, if URLs change without proper redirects or the new site blocks pages by mistake. A careful SEO migration keeps any dip small. We benchmark the old site, map every URL, test the new site on staging and watch rankings closely after launch.

What are Core Web Vitals and do they affect rankings?

They are Google's measures of loading (LCP), responsiveness (INP) and visual stability (CLS). They count as a ranking factor, but a small one next to relevance. The bigger win is usually conversions, because people leave slow, jumpy pages before they ever call.

Does a WordPress site need technical SEO?

Yes. WordPress handles the basics, but plugins, page builders and themes add weight and can create duplicate pages, messy redirects and stray noindex settings. We see it often after a few years of updates. A regular audit keeps the site fast and visible to Google.

Can you fix technical SEO on a site you didn't build?

Usually, yes. We work on WordPress and custom sites built by other developers all the time. We'll audit it first and tell you honestly whether fixing it makes sense, or whether a rebuild would cost you less over time, and why.
